A Note from Our Leading Lady

A Note from Our Leading Lady

Dear Friends,

Thank you for reading and being here. If no one has told you today let me be the one to remind you: you matter, you are enough, and you are beautiful.

As a 3rd generation Californian, music has always been woven into the fabric of my life. From the tender age of 2 1/2, my mother ignited my passion for music, teaching me "Twinkle, Twinkle" on a tiny violin, and father’s jingle reels which I can still sing to this day. Growing up in a household filled with creativity and melody, I was fortunate to explore my musical talents alongside my parents in theaters and studio sessions, and harmonizing with my younger sister.

Some of my fondest memories include trips abroad with orchestras and choral groups, my college vocal jazz ensemble (both rehearsals and Los Angeles jazz clubs), and a career highlight performing alongside jazz legend Wynton Marsalis at the Hollywood Bowl, an experience that remains etched in my heart to this day. Amidst the tumultuous backdrop of 9/11, the power of music to unite and heal became profoundly evident as I stood on that iconic stage, singing the national anthem with the LA Philharmonic, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, and gospel choir. We also recorded Marsalis’ work All Rise at Warner Bros. Studios.

My childhood led me to combine my love for music and art with a desire to learn business administration, culminating in a degree in Music Industry Studies from California State University, Northridge. Equipped with a unique blend of musical expertise and business acumen, I embarked on a fulfilling and skill expanding 15-year career in the non-profit arts sector.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse array of organizations, leveraging my skills in marketing, communications, advertising, and program/project management to drive impactful initiatives. From Los Angeles to San Francisco, I've been fortunate to collaborate with esteemed clients and companies, leaving a lasting mark on the cultural landscape of our time.

Today, as the founder of WE INC. Marketing, I am driven by a vision to redefine the norms of traditional work structures, offering a supportive and nurturing environment where women can thrive personally and professionally. Inspired by my own journey as a mother of two daughters, I am committed to creating opportunities for women to make a meaningful impact while prioritizing their well-being and family life (whatever that might look like and evolve into!)

At WE INC., our philosophy is rooted in authenticity, collaboration, and empowerment. We believe in the transformative power of art and community to drive positive change from our neighborhoods to our nation, and we're dedicated to helping our clients achieve their goals with integrity and passion.

Quality over quantity.

Less noise, more meaning.

Join us on this journey as we rewrite the narrative of marketing, one campaign at a time.

With gratitude,
